Support exceptional, ethical theatre in Oxford and online

Creation has been producing award-winning theatre for thirty years, gathering the community in unusual places and spaces to watch high-quality productions based on classic stories.

However, we have no regular subsidy. We are entirely reliant on ticket sales and generous donations from our audience, community, trusts, foundations, and corporate sponsors.

Fundraising for arts organisations is tough at the moment. Many organisations, including Creation, lost their financial reserves during the pandemic. We are incredibly grateful for every donation that allows us to rebuild and thrive.

You can become an ‘extra’ for £49.50 a year (which gives you discounts on tickets and education workshops) or become a gold or silver supporter for £200 or £500 annually, which gives you access to special events and ‘behind the scenes’ moments.

If you would prefer to make a one-off donation, here’s what your money could do:
  • £30 pays for a workshop leader to run an after-school session with young people
  • £100 pays for a day of rehearsal room hire
  • £210 pays for a bursary for a teenager to attend our youth theatre
  • £900 pays for a performance to be BSL (British Sign Language) interpreted
  • £2,500.00 pays for the rep company actors for one week
  • £5,000.00 pays for the set and costumes for a production
  • £10,000.00 would pay for a new tent to keep our audiences dry or shady for the summer season
