Shakespeare Advent Calendar
Start Date: 1st December
25 Days of Shakespeare
This Christmas, we’re opening the doors on a rather different kind of advent calendar.
Buy a ticket and from 1–25 December, we’ll send you a new short film every day: a Shakespeare monologue, performed by one of the brilliant actors who has worked with Creation Theatre over the past 30 years.
Twenty-five actors. Twenty-five speeches. Twenty-five little moments of Shakespeare to watch wherever you are.
Over three decades, Creation has brought Shakespeare to life in castles, colleges, parks, factories, bookshops and all sorts of unexpected places. Our Shakespeare Advent Calendar is a celebration of that history — bringing together familiar faces from Creation productions past and present for a very special festive reunion
Give 25 Dyas of Shakespeare to someone you love
If there’s a Shakespeare lover in your life, this is an early Christmas present that won’t need wrapping and won’t clutter up a cupboard. Gift a Shakespeare Advent Calendar to a friend, parent, teacher, colleague, theatre-lover, former English student — or anyone who could do with a daily dose of brilliant words and brilliant actors this December.
And every ticket helps another young person discover theatre
This isn’t only a celebration of Creation’s past. It helps support our future, too.
Profits from the Shakespeare Advent Calendar will go towards Creation Theatre’s bursary fund, helping children and young people who might otherwise be unable to take part in our education programme.
Buy one. Gift one. Gift twenty-five if you’re feeling particularly festive.
And spend December with Creation, Shakespeare and some very familiar faces.
