Summer Shakespeare: A Midsummer Night's Dream, Oxford

8th July - 14th August 2026

Wolfson College Cricket Ground, Oxford

Back by popular demand.  Our sell-out 2025 show is returning in Summer 2026 for a limited number of performances. Gather your friends and family, for a very special evening.

We invite you to step into a dream.  A Midsummer Night’s Dream.

Settle beneath the soft canvas of our open-air tent and let mischief, magic, and moonlight transport you. In true English summer fête style, expect bunting, blossoms, and just a hint of fairy dust as Shakespeare’s most playful comedy comes to life on the picturesque lawn of the Wolfson College cricket ground.

Wander into a world where lovers get lost, fairies meddle, and nothing is quite as it seems. Bring a picnic, grab a Pimm’s, and prepare for a beautiful evening of laughter, wonder, and theatrical magic.

  • A joyful night out.
  • A hidden gem of a location.
  • A midsummer evening you won’t forget.

Don’t dream it – see it.

“Fully entranced we all howled with laughter, children giggling throughout, but while A Midsummer Night’s Dream is wonderfully family-friendly, it isn’t dumbed down. It’s the physicality and humour that makes it so appealing to the younger generation as we all sang along, clapped and chanted our way through.”
