In what was definitely Creation’s shortest ever Christmas run, the Pinocchio cast and crew bravely battled on to give just over a week of the planned four weeks’ of performance. Created as a joyful celebration of coming back together, a hopeful tale of a young puppet on an epic quest and a good old family outing, the few people who did manage to see the show got to experience the return of Creation’s Christmas show after a year’s forced hiatus.
Despite having to close the show due to Covid we remain so incredibly proud of all the work that went in to the show. From our wonderful cast to the indefatigable creative team and backstage crew, and of course our super-talented Young Company of performers aged 11-14. We would also like to thank all the audience members who converted their cancelled tickets in to donations, it’s very likely that Creation wouldn’t still be here without you.
We hope that Pinocchio will ride again in some form or other… watch this space…
