Playing the King

25-26 August 2017

The Manor, Weston-on-the-Green

Thomas Cromwell, Sister Elizabeth Barton, Mary I, Anne Boleyn and Henry Fitzroy. Five individuals vying for the attention of one man.

Written and directed by Olivia Mace, the show was created specifically for a new venue for Creation, The Manor, Weston on the Green. In small groups, the audience explored the breath-taking setting of the 15th Century Manor House whilst encountering members of the court whose livelihoods, and lives, depend on currying favour with the volatile Henry VIII.
