Swallows and Amazons

9 July – 11 August 2018

University Parks, Oxford

“Better drowned than duffers, if not duffers won’t drown”

Our production of Helen Edmondson’s adaptation of Arthur Ransome’s classic was beloved by audiences in the stunning surroundings of University Parks.

Reviews

“My kids, aged 6 and 8, were transfixed and adored sitting in the inflatable dinghys to watch the play. With clever ear-worm songs and hugely imaginative staging, the play was an absolute delight. ” TripAdvisor review

““Creation’s Swallows and Amazons is the perfect show; fun, family-friendly, and full of excitement.”.” Daily Info

“This is an essential summer show. Don’t miss out. ★★★★★” The Oxford Times

“Superb entertainment.” Newbury Weekly News

“It was amazing how scenes from the books, which I hadn’t read for 40+ years, came back to life and I remembered the thrill of reading them as if it was yesterday. A great experience for those who love the books and those who don’t know them at all.” Audience member on TripAdvisor
