The Wonderful Wizard of Oz
19 December 2020 – 3 January 2021
Digital Theatre | Live online
Christmas 2020 saw our audiences separated from loved ones, pining for their annual festive theatre treat and experiencing a very different world to that of previous years. But that didn’t mean we couldn’t be together at Christmas and celebrate creative escapism after a trying year for so many.
Audiences dialled in from all over the world to join Dorothy as we ventured through a computer-game-land of Oz, made unlikely friends and banished wicked witches. Dreamt up by the creative masterminds of Creation Christmas shows past and with a very special cameo appearance from iconic drag artist Le Gateau Chocolat as The Good Witch, our actors performed this two hour long show live twice a day from spare rooms, sheds and annexes across the UK. Get a flavour of the show with the trailer.
The British Black List interviewed Chloe Lemonius who played Dorothy, you can read the interview on our blog.
