What is the age guidance?
The show is recommended for audiences between 5 and 105!
Younger children may well enjoy the spectacle and will certainly love the songs and dancing, the running time is around 2 hours including the interval. Due to the nature of the story there will be loud bangs and sudden lighting effects that might be too much for younger children. Of course we’ll welcome younger children as part of a family trip, but the show has not been designed with pre-school children in mind.

What is a Relaxed Performance?
A relaxed performance is where the ambience of the auditorium and theatre ‘rules’ are relaxed. These performances are ideal for people with learning disabilities or autism, or anyone who would benefit from a more relaxed environment. The director and the actors and technical team on the show will also have thought carefully about what might need to change in the show so that people’s needs have been considered. For instance, very loud noises or music might be turned down or specific movements or lines might be adapted slightly.

These evening show on the 2nd January is designated as being for grown ups. The show itself won’t change substantially, we’ll just give our actors license to be a bit more free with their ad-libs! Plus adults can book knowing that the majority of the rest of the audience will also be grown-ups. If you have an older child you’re happy to bring along please do, but we won’t be expecting any tiny ones.

There is a bar at the North Wall selling a selection of alcoholic and soft drinks plus snacks and ice-cream. The bar will open an hour before the show start and will also be open during the interval.
